There's another lovely train ride in the Pyrenees. I'd love to go on that one - the little yellow train, I think it's called. Not steam though.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13195684182481935384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18862674.post-67948800271887123842014-07-24T18:49:14.289+02:002014-07-24T18:49:14.289+02:00Steam trains, picnics and olive oil - three of my ...Steam trains, picnics and olive oil - three of my favourite things!!!Curry Queenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01357154781453417176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18862674.post-50573635627370719872014-07-24T18:23:43.975+02:002014-07-24T18:23:43.975+02:00We've been thinking about doing more train jou...We've been thinking about doing more train journeys - the last one we did was down to Nice years ago but we loved it. I've always loved steam trains and now enjoy taking the grandsons on our restored narrow-gauge railway in Wales and watching all the volunteers having a marvellous time. :) Our scenery is pretty, but nothing like as dramatic and beautiful as that of the Cevennes. As for the oil mill, I'd have loved that bit too...Perpetuahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01214396019726161983noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18862674.post-22463585123958846682014-07-16T22:59:34.539+02:002014-07-16T22:59:34.539+02:00A woman after my own heart! Actually, my DB did admit that it was a good idea to take the cool box in the end, Bidochon wannabe that he is! :)

The olive oil with black olives was very unusual. I think they added 20% black olives to 80% green. It was a one-off experiment for this year. :)Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13195684182481935384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18862674.post-9489779970397458332014-07-16T19:07:02.012+02:002014-07-16T19:07:02.012+02:00That sounds to have been a super time...and we wou...That sounds to have been a super time...and we would have taken a picnic too bidochons as we are!
It brought back to me the visit I made there so long ago...but I wish I'd known about the olive oil mill...and am now looking out for oil from black olives!the fly in the webhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04563871975125538755noreply@blogger.com
